From one Sarasota, Florida location in 1989, Freedom has grown to over 75 franchises throughout the United States. Lake Norman offers some of the most beautiful boating available in North Carolina. Welcome to Lake Norman! Lake Norman is 34 miles long with over 520 miles of shoreline and holds 3.4 trillion gallons of water. It also has an international presence, with a few franchises. Local Club Locations: Lake Norman - Safe Harbor Skipper's Landing (Mooresville), North Harbor Marina (Davidson), Waterstreet Seaport Marina (Cornelius), Safe Harbor Westport Marina (Denver), and Pier 49 on Lake Wylie Since beginning to franchise in 2000, Freedom Boat Club has grown to over 215 locations in the U.S.
